Wirehaired Pointer Dog

The German Wirehaired Pointer dog was first bred in the late 1800s and in the beginning of the 1900s in Germany. The origin of this breed is based on the thoughts of Sigismund Freiherr von Zedlitz und Neukirch. It was cautiously crossbred from the German Pointer dog  and numerous other breeds.
