Pointer dog that originally from Spain were originally known as Spanish Pointers. These were a far heavier-cast dog than the Pointer we know today. Spanish Pointer and German Pointer are the different dog. These dogs appeared in Britain at the end of the War of Spanish Succession (1713). Pointers in America can be traced to the Civil War period and were probably brought to the new world by their masters. That is the history from the pointer itself.

There are 3 types of German Pointer : German Pointer Shorthaired and German Pointer Longhaired and German Pointer Wirehaired. German Shorthaired Pointer is the most favorite from the three types of German Pointer, if we compare between German Pointer Longhaired and German Pointer Wirehaired and German Pointer Shorthaired. Of course you need to teach your dogs when they are still puppies, so it will become good and excellent German Pointer. And German pointer has good smell since they can smell its prey from a far. This dog named pointer because it can point to the direction and German Pointer can helps you when you are lost somewhere.

And German Pointer is the fraction from old pointer. The ancestor is from Spanish. Because of the war, it was separate become English and German pointer. In a conformation event, the German Pointer must give the appearance of being an all-purpose gun dog, balancing aristocracy with power and agility, along with endurance and intelligence. Beside smell, English and German Pointer has great ability and friendly when you train well. The German Pointer was bred to be a very versatile dog, fulfilling the function of different types of gun dog. Beside, it was being a good retriever and pointer.

For accessorize, you can give your dog accessorize like chain or another accessorize to your dog and German Pointer will looks good if you can build it be a brave dog whether the body or the performance. Or for some suggestion, give your German Pointer a dog tag. Dog tag will help you find your dog when they are lost somewhere.
