The German Short-haired Pointer is one such breed. However, in the 19^th century, the “hunting dog” was looked at as part of a nobleman’s wealth. Actually, in Europe at that time, since the wealthy owned most of the land, it was believed that only the wealthy could hunt with dogs. For healthy German short-haired pointer, you should give him good and healthy food. Of course you need to provide a lot of money for this one. Sometimes, German short-haired pointer food needs more money than human. Many owners of German Short-haired Pointer are not hunting dogs. But for option, they you can teach him to follow the competition, obedience training, and agility training.
