German pointer is a wonderful watch dog, hunting dog, and gun dog. As a German pointer breeder, you should train them and treat them to out their potentials. As a German pointer breeder, this dog has a lot of potential if you train them properly and continuously. If you are a responsible German pointer breeder, you need to give treat them like your own family, and don’t do violence to your dogs. Because in some country, there are laws about animals violation. As a German pointer breeder, you should know how to treat them properly:

1. As you may know, each breed of dog has its own unique set of nutritional requirements. Their unique set of nutritional requirements have been passed on from generations just like the breed’s unique coat, body size and temperament. I recommend you feed a diet that contains a blend of poultry, fish, lamb, avocado, and wheat for this breed. I also recommend you avoid blends that contain beef by-products, soy, yellow corn, and beet pulp for a German pointer.

2. You need to give them proper shelter. Responsible German pointer breeder should be has at least a crate or kennels for your dog’s place to sleep. Beside having them, you need to maintain them properly like clean them at least once every two weeks to ensure their clean, so mold won’t grow there.

3. As a German pointer breeder, you need to bath your dog for at least once a week. This will make your dog happy and they have no bad smell especially when they are at home.

4. Train is the job for German pointer breeder. To maximize their ability and to give them good manner, you need to train your dog everyday. If you train them properly, their manner will become good and polite. Beside it will commend your command.

German pointer is very friendly with children, so that many child love this breed. But be careful, maybe your children can treat them properly, they will just play around with the dog. As a responsible German pointer breeder, you need to teach your children how to treat them well.
